BOOKSHELF
Throughout my personal and professional reading journey, I have come across a plethora of ideas. Ideas that enriched my arsenal, added depth and surface, challenged at times and hardened my understanding of various topics at others. Ideas I have and continue to reference plenty. On more than a couple of occasions have caught myself falling short when solely relying on basic cognition techniques. This section is yet another iteration to address this allusive retention problem as I collect snippets of readings I have enjoyed in a format that can be easily accessed.

At the quarter-century mark, a couple of years into my first engineering job, I got a strange impulse to take a break from engineering and try something else, so I did… My curiosity about cooking as a profession grew each day substantially, fueled by an overwhelming flow of youtube suggested videos of Nick Liu, Magnus Nilsson, Matthy Madison, Grant Achatz, David Chang, and many others. I quit my job and went to culinary school in hopes to either validate this unsettling hunch, qualify it as a fad or seriously consider a change of course. Only a few months into working my first restaurant job, I realized that this passion for cooking was here to stay. In this section, I try to document elements of this beautiful ongoing culinary journey.

WATCH LIST
Building on similar goals as the Bookshelf section, this Watch List carries messages, quotes, themes, and lessons I have come across while exploring various genres of moving pictures. The intricate scenery & visuals, coupled with a dynamic narrative, often result in unshakeable ankers in one’s memory. Here are some of these brief snippets I carry with me.
